About the Merge Images
The Img Stop Merge Images tool joins several pictures into a single image, either in one row or in one column. It works with JPG, PNG and WebP files. By default it makes all photos the same height for a row, or the same width for a column, so the edges line up neatly without stretching any picture out of shape.
Merging is useful when an app or form allows only one image, or when you want to compare pictures next to each other. Long chats and web pages can also be stitched from several screenshots into one tall image. You choose the gap between images, the background color behind them and the output format, then download the finished picture straight away.

Frequently asked questions
How do I put two pictures side by side?
Add both pictures to the Merge Images tool and choose Side by side. Keep Make all the same height / width ticked so both images get the same height. Click Merge images and download the result. The first image you added appears on the left.
Can I merge images vertically, one under the other?
Yes. Choose Top to bottom as the direction. The images are stacked in the order you added them and, with the same size option on, they all get the same width. This is the best way to join long screenshots into one picture.
Will merging reduce the quality of my photos?
With the same size option, bigger photos are scaled down to match the smallest one, so very different sizes can lose some detail. For best quality, merge photos of similar size, or untick the option. PNG output keeps every pixel without compression loss.
Is there a limit to how big the merged image can be?
The merged image keeps the original pixel sizes where possible. If the final picture would be longer than 16,000 pixels on one side, it is scaled down to fit, because browsers cannot safely create larger images.
What is the difference between Merge Images and Collage Maker?
Merge Images puts pictures in one single row or one column and keeps their own shapes. Collage Maker arranges 2 to 12 photos in a grid of equal cells and crops each photo to fit. Use Merge for comparisons and long screenshots, and Collage for photo grids.
