About the Collage Maker

The Img Stop Collage Maker places several photos into one clean grid picture. You can add between 2 and 12 images in JPG, PNG or WebP. Each photo fills its own cell and is cropped from the center, so the grid always looks even. The last row is centered when it has fewer photos, which keeps odd numbers like 5 or 7 looking balanced.

A collage is the quickest way to share many moments in one post, like a trip, a wedding or a before and after. Social apps often show only one image in the feed, so a grid tells the whole story at once. You choose the final width, from 1080 px for phones up to 3200 px for printing, and the tool saves a single sharp JPG.

When to use it

  • Share ten holiday photos as one Instagram or Facebook post.
  • Make a before and after picture for a home, hair or fitness change.
  • Show a set of products in one image for a WhatsApp catalog or online shop.
  • Create a family or wedding grid to print and put in a frame.
  • Put several screenshots side by side for a report or a class presentation.

Tips for the best result

  • Photos are placed in the order you add them, so add your best picture first if you want it in the top left cell.
  • Choose the 4:5 cell shape with 2 columns for a tall collage that fills more of the Instagram feed.
  • Every photo is cropped to fill its cell. Keep faces near the middle of each photo so they are not cut off.
  • Use 3200 px width for printing and 1080 px for WhatsApp or social posts to keep the file small.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos can I put in one collage?

You can use from 2 up to 12 photos in one collage. If you add more than 12, only the first 12 are used. With Auto columns the tool picks a balanced grid, for example 2 × 2 for four photos or 3 × 3 for nine photos.

Can I change the order of photos in the collage?

Photos appear in the order you add them, from left to right and top to bottom. To change the order, remove a photo with the × button and add it again so it moves to the end, or click Start over and add the photos in the order you want.

Why are parts of my photos cut off?

Each cell has a fixed shape, such as square or 4:5. To fill the cell without empty space, the photo is scaled and cropped from the center. Pick a cell shape closer to your photos, for example 3:4 for phone portraits, to cut off less.

What size is the finished collage?

The width is the value you choose: 1080, 1600, 2400 or 3200 pixels. The height depends on the number of rows, the cell shape and the spacing. The live preview shows the exact size in pixels before you download.

Does the collage maker add a watermark?

No. Img Stop never adds a watermark, logo or text to your collage. The download is a clean JPG made in your own browser, and you can use it on social media, in print or in your work without any credit.
