About the GIF Maker
GIF Maker builds an animated GIF from a set of still images. Each image becomes one frame, and every frame is shown for the time you choose, from 40 milliseconds to 3 seconds. Img Stop uses the gif.js encoder in your browser. The width can be up to 1600 pixels, and the height follows the shape of the first image, so all frames share one size.
Animated GIFs play automatically in chats, emails, forums and many websites, with no play button. They are great for short how-to steps, before-and-after effects, product views and simple slideshows. Because GIF supports only 256 colors per frame, it suits graphics, screenshots and short loops better than long photo videos. Smaller widths and fewer frames keep the file light.

When to use it
- Show a before-and-after photo edit in a single moving image.
- Turn product photos from different angles into a rotating GIF for an online shop.
- Explain app or website steps with a short GIF made from screenshots.
- Make a fun birthday or Eid greeting from family photos to share in chats.
- Create a simple animated banner or sticker from several design frames.
Tips for the best result
- Use images with the same shape. If they differ, Crop to fill looks cleaner than empty bars around the frames.
- Keep the width around 480 to 800 px for chat apps. Bigger GIFs grow very quickly in file size.
- For smooth motion use 80–150 ms per frame; for a slideshow use 1000–2000 ms.
- Add files in the right order, because frames play in the order they were added.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a GIF from pictures?
Open Img Stop's GIF Maker and add at least two images. Set the Frame time to control the speed, choose a Width, and decide if the GIF should loop forever. Press Make GIF and the animation is built in your browser. Download it when the progress finishes.
How do I change the speed of the GIF?
Use the Frame time slider. It sets how long each image stays on screen, from 40 milliseconds to 3000 milliseconds. A lower number makes the animation faster. The default of 500 ms shows two frames per second, which works well for simple slideshows.
Why are my images cut or have bars around them?
All frames must have the same size, which comes from the Width you set and the shape of the first image. Choose Fit inside to see each whole image with the background color around it, or Crop to fill to fill the frame by cutting the edges.
How can I make the GIF file smaller?
Lower the Width, use fewer frames, and lower the Quality slider a little. GIF size grows with every pixel and every frame, so a 480 px GIF with 10 frames is much lighter than a 1200 px GIF with 30 frames. Simple graphics also compress better than photos.
Does the GIF have a watermark?
No. Img Stop does not add any logo or watermark to your GIF. The file is made in your browser from your own images, so you get a clean animation that you can share on WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, email or a website.
