About the Photo Filters & Adjust
Photo Filters & Adjust is a simple online photo editor for light and color. It offers ten presets – Original, Grayscale, Sepia, Vintage, Warm, Cool, Vivid, Fade, Noir and Invert – plus six sliders for brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur and vignette. Picking a preset moves the sliders for you, and you can change them afterwards to create your own look.
Small changes in light and color can make a dull phone photo look professional. Brightness fixes dark pictures, contrast adds depth, and saturation makes colors richer or calmer. Filters also give a set of photos one matching style, which matters for an Instagram feed, a product catalog or a photo album. You can apply the same settings to many images at once.

When to use it
- Brighten dark indoor photos taken on a phone.
- Turn portraits into classic black and white or Noir pictures.
- Give all product photos the same warm or vivid look for an online store.
- Make old-style vintage or sepia pictures for a family album or invitation card.
- Create a soft, blurred background image for a website banner or slide.
Tips for the best result
- Change brightness and contrast in small steps, such as 105–115%. Big jumps can lose detail in light and dark areas.
- The Fade preset lowers contrast and saturation for a calm, modern look that suits lifestyle photos.
- A vignette of 20–40% looks natural; higher values give a strong, dramatic effect.
- Choose PNG output if you plan to edit the photo again, so quality is not lost twice.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a photo black and white?
Choose the Grayscale preset to remove all color. For a stronger, more dramatic look, choose Noir, which is grayscale with higher contrast. You can still move the Brightness and Contrast sliders after picking the preset. Then press Apply to all images and download.
How do I brighten a dark photo?
Move the Brightness slider above 100%, for example to 120%. If the photo looks flat afterwards, raise Contrast a little as well. Watch the live preview so bright areas like the sky or a white shirt do not turn completely white.
What does the Hue slider do?
Hue rotates every color around the color wheel. At 0° the colors stay the same; at 180° blue turns orange and green turns pink. Small values give a subtle color shift, while large values create bold, artistic effects.
Can I apply the same filter to many photos?
Yes. Add all the photos at once, set the preset and sliders while looking at the preview of the first image, then press Apply to all images. Each photo gets exactly the same settings, and you can download them all together as a ZIP.
Do filters lower the photo quality?
The photo keeps its original width and height. Saving as JPG or WebP adds light compression at high quality, which is hard to see. If you want no compression loss, choose PNG as the Output format. Your original file on your device is never changed.
