About the Bulk Image Resizer

Bulk image resizer – Bulk Image Resizer

The Img Stop Bulk Image Resizer changes the size of hundreds of photos in one go. Resize by the longest side so portrait and landscape pictures both fit, set a fixed width or height, make every image an exact size like 1080×1080, or scale everything by a percentage.

All the work happens on your own device, so there is no upload wait and no file limit. Photos are processed one after another to keep your browser fast, you see the progress and time left, and you can stop at any moment. Rename the results with a pattern and download them as a ZIP or write them directly to a folder.

When to use it

  • Shrink a full phone or camera folder to 1920 px before emailing or uploading it.
  • Make every product photo the same 1000×1000 px size for an online store.
  • Prepare a batch of pictures at 1080 px for Instagram or Facebook.
  • Reduce photo sizes for a website so pages load faster.
  • Resize scanned documents to a fixed width for an application portal.

Tips for the best result

  • Use Longest side when your batch mixes portrait and landscape photos – nothing gets cropped.
  • For web pages, 1600–2000 px on the longest side is plenty for full-width images.
  • Choose Save to a folder for very large batches – files are written as they finish, so memory stays low.
  • Combine with WebP output to get files that are both smaller and sharper.

Frequently asked questions

How many images can I resize at once?

There is no fixed limit. You can add hundreds or even thousands of images. They are processed one after another on your device, so the only limit is your computer or phone. For very large batches choose Save to a folder so finished files do not stay in memory.

Will resizing keep the aspect ratio?

Yes. Longest side, Width, Height and Percent always keep the original proportions. Only Exact size changes the shape, and you choose whether to crop, fit inside with a background, or stretch.

Can I resize a whole folder?

Yes. Drag a folder onto the upload box or click Choose a folder. All images inside, including sub-folders, are added and other files are skipped.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The Img Stop Bulk Image Resizer works entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device, which also makes it faster than upload-based tools.

Can I rename the resized files?

Yes. Use the File names box with patterns like {name}-resized, image-{n} or {date}-{n}. Under More naming options you can set the start number, digits, lowercase names and dashes instead of spaces.
