About the Instagram Grid Splitter with Borders

Instagram grid – Instagram Grid Splitter with Borders

The Img Stop Instagram Grid Splitter turns one picture into a set of posts that join up into a large image on your profile. Unlike basic splitters, it lets you add the same border, gap or rounded corners to every tile, so the grid looks like a deliberate, designed layout.

Choose the crop area on your photo, pick 3:4 tiles for Instagram’s new taller profile grid (or 4:5 and square), and see a live preview of how your profile will look. The files are numbered in posting order, because Instagram shows the newest post first.

  • Keep faces and text away from the lines between tiles.
  • A border of 30–50 px on every tile gives a clean gallery look.

Frequently asked questions

In which order do I post the grid tiles?

Post the file named post-01 first and post-09 (or the last number) last. Instagram shows the newest post at the top left, so posting in this order rebuilds the picture.

Which size should Instagram grid tiles be?

Instagram profiles now show posts in a 3:4 shape, so 1080×1440 px tiles line up best. 4:5 (1080×1350) and square tiles also work.

Can I add borders between the tiles?

Yes. Choose Between tiles for negative space only where tiles meet, Every tile for a frame on each post, or Outer frame for a border around the whole grid.

Will my grid still line up if I post something else later?

Each new post shifts the grid by one tile. Post 3 new images at a time (one full row) to keep the picture aligned.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free and private.
