Add file names, numbers or the date each photo was taken (read from the camera data), a header title and page numbers. Pick a clean grid or a classic black film strip look. Frequently asked questions

What is a contact sheet?

A contact sheet is a page of small thumbnails of many photos, usually numbered. Photographers used to make them from film negatives to choose which photos to print. Today they are used to review shoots and let clients pick photos.

How many photos fit on one page?

With “Auto”, the tool picks the largest thumbnails that fit all your photos on one page when possible, and uses up to 6 × 8 per page for big sets. With “Columns × rows” you choose the exact grid, for example 5 × 7.

Can it show the date the photo was taken?

Yes. Choose “Date taken” or “Number, name and date” captions. The date is read from the photo's camera (EXIF) data; when a photo has none, the file date is used.

Can I make a multi-page PDF?

Yes. Choose PDF and all pages are saved in one file, at the paper size you picked. For JPG or PNG, each page is a separate image and you can download them all in a ZIP.

What does the film strip style do?

It draws each row as a black film strip with sprocket holes and orange frame numbers, like a classic darkroom contact sheet.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The sheets are made inside your browser, so even private photos stay on your device.
